Couponing: Step 5 – Learn the Lingo

30 Mar

“Wags has a BOGO CAT printing WYB 2 Nabisco Products!  Stack (2) $1/1 MFG with (1) $1/2 store Q and receive $2 RR.  Pay $2 OOP and receive $3 RR!  YMMV.”

Confused???  Check out Stephanie’s Couponing Terms & Abbreviations post to crack the code!

(Note:  That is not an actual deal.  Just an example of couponing abbreviations.)

I am still confused on the “YMMV”. I read what it means, but it is still confusing.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply! YMMV stands for “your mileage may vary”. It simply means that your store may not have the same deals as mine, because prices vary by store. You will typically find this on clearance items, but some other national chains will vary their price by store. Walmart is an example. Please let me know if you have any more questions. I’ll be sure to respond more quickly next time.
