Competitor Coupons

21 Jun

A competitor coupon is a store coupon from a store different than the one you are shopping at.  Most stores do not accept coupons generated by other stores, but some do.  Meaning that you could possibly take a Target store coupon into Wal-mart and they would honor it.  (Just an example – Wal-mart DOES NOT honor competitor coupons.)

In order to find out if your store accepts competitors coupons, ASK!!!

I don’t know of any that accept competitor coupons in Knoxville, but many stores do accept competitor coupons.  Oftentimes, they must be from the same genre of store. ( i.e.  You cannot use a drugstore’s coupon at a grocery store.)  They can be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons.  It has been reported that in some towns, CVS honors Rite Aid coupons, so it may not hurt to ask!

Home Depot and Lowe’s accept competitor coupons. You can bring in Ace Hardware coupons or ones for HH Gregg if buying appliances.

Jo Ann’s accepts competitor coupons–Hobby Lobby, AC Moore, etc.
