Food City has a promotion on milk right now where you get your 6th gallon free if you buy 5! (you will receive a voucher at check out as you buy the first 5). Milk is on sale for $2.89, but the gallon I bought had a $1 off peelie on it (expires 5/21)! If you can find it for that price, you can get 6 gallons for $1.58 per gallon! Almost half price!
The 3 of us go through about 3 gallons/week, so I’m sure that’s a really great deal for some larger families! I have never frozen milk before, but apparently you can! It may change the consistency of it a bit though, so beware!
