Thursday is House Cleaning Day!!!

Looks like quite a list today, but if you look at each item individually, shouldn’t take THAT long!  I decided to make Wednesday nights pizza night so that the kitchen would stay clean for Thursdays!  Hopefully that will help me get a jumpstart on my busy day!  Plus, if the house is clean on Thursday, then I will have all weekend to enjoy my family and not have to worry about housework! 


Routine Weekly Cleaning

  1. Put away dishes
  2. Pick up house
  3. Laundry
  4. Cull/toss old magazines.
  5. Change sheets
  6. Empty all the trash
  7. Vacuum all rooms
  8. Mop kitchen and bath
  9. Clean mirrors and doors
  10. Dust furniture
  11. Make shopping lists
  12. Organize Coupons
  13. Make sure refrigerator is clean
  14. Shine sink

Deep Cleaning List:  The Living Room

  1. Clean Cobwebs
  2. Clean Windows
  3. Wash brick-a-brack
  4. Clean end table
  5. Straighten Drawers
  6. Wipe fingerprints from walls
  7. Polish furniture
  8. Clean phones and remotes
  9. Clean under cushions
  10. Clean out fireplace
  11. Move furniture and mop
  12. Shampoo couches
  13. Dust ceiling fan and anything on walls
  14. Wash, iron, and re-hang curtains and blankets
  15. Clean air vents
  16. Back up computer
